24 Hour DH Race

alt

Another 24 hour ‘downhill race at night’ will be held at Bike Park Semmering (Austria).  On the 10th and 11th of August to be specific.  It’s the seventh time in a row this event takes place.

Riders will be challenged to conquer the illuminated trail and light up the mountain. As far as we know it’s a one of a kind event, so it could be a great one to visit during you summer break. Especially because it’s free to get in. Last race at night was won by Daniel Tulla. This bloke from Tirol managed to complete 161 rounds! In other words: 563,5 kilometers downhill. He didn’t even take a break. Can you imagine? Well, if you can and believe you’re born to lead at breakneck speed, visit www.bikeparksemmering.at and enter the competition. The race starts on Saturday the 10th of August at 12.00 o’clock and since this is a 24 hour race, guess when it ends. The track has a length of approximate 3,5 kilometers and will be an expanded version of the usual route. Contenders are able to compete on their own or in 2-, 4- or 6-headed teams.
