It’s Rookie Time!

 
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Austria, June 21st 2016 – Attention gravity fans! The MTB-Festival Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is celebrating mountain biking from August 1st to 7th and especially the young riders have a lot to look forward to. One week of MTB madness kicks off with the “Rookie Camp 2016”: an experienced team, built around UCI Masters Downhill World Champion Alice Kühne, will coach the participating youngsters. Everyone, who wasn’t lucky enough to get a spot in the camp, can count on plenty of biking action during the “Kona Rookie Games” from August 4th to 7th. Kids and grown-ups alike can let off some steam in the bike park. Registration for both iXS events on that weekend can be done online.

Fresh talent succeeds at 26TRIX

A slopestyle weekend full of surprises

Saalfelden Leogang in Salzburger Land, Austria, June 11th 2016 – The FMB Gold Event 26TRIX is proving to become a true talent factory. Well-known pros and many newcomers signed up for the pre-qualification round, making it the biggest pre-qualification ever. Amongst the participants were also BMX legend Drew Bezanson and the only female competitor Gemma Corbera, who took part in their first big FMB contest. Due to steady rainfall on Saturday, the qualification runs stood as the final results. The Italian Diego Caverzasi sent a huge run and celebrated his breakthrough on an international stage. He was followed by the Frenchmen Antoine Bizet and Mehdi Gani, who completed the podium. The GoPro Best Trick winner was Nico Scholze from Germany.
